RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for developing STUDIO MEMM's presentation to the world. Requires an understanding of the architectural context and the ability to create marketing and content strategies.
INTERACTION: This position will have direct contact with Studio leadership, external marketing and public relations teams, as well as collaborating project teams.
PRODUCTION: Activities will involve the production of social media content, website management, collaboration on the Ecoar.q Podcast, and supporting internal and external teams in information exchange.
REQUIREMENTS: Fluent in English / proficiency in digital media / strong aesthetic sense / familiarity with the architectural world / proficiency with various software and apps.

MODEL MAKING | BACKGROUND: Design/Architecture
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for developing physical presentation models and prototypes. This position requires manual dexterity, cutting and pasting skills, as well as knowledge of materials and a compositional aesthetic eye. It also involves creating a digital model for production using laser cutting, CNC, and 3D printing.
INTERACTION: This position will have direct contact with project teams and Studio leadership in the creation, development, and final presentation of materials.
PRODUCTION: Involves the entire model production process, including interpreting the architectural project, developing the model design, organizing and procuring materials, assembly, and pre- and post-assembly physical space organization.
REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience in model making. Design thinking and a repertoire of techniques and materials for application.

JUNIOR DRAFTER | BACKGROUND: Design/Architecture
RESPONSIBILITIES: Initiates the development of ideas born in Studio MEMM. Translates ideas and concepts into projects through schematic representations, volumetrics, and technical drawings. The projects are always approached with technical considerations, and understanding of the executive project is welcome and necessary from the early stages.
Interaction: The team member will be in contact with Studio leadership and involved in all project-related activities, as well as occasional interactions with construction sites, suppliers, and clients.
Production: Involves all project-related needs: reference research, diagnostics, 2D and 3D graphic development, schematics, diagrams, technical drawings, surveys, and potentially reaching the production level of executive drawings.
REQUIREMENTS: Fluent in English, basic Excel skills, Adobe Suite, Autocad, basic knowledge of Revit.
ADDITIONAL: QGIS, Vray, Rhino, and plugins.

ADVANCED MODELING | BACKGROUND: Marketing/Design/Architecture
RESPONSIBILITIES: This team member has the challenge of transforming freehand sketches of complex projects into 3D models. They ensure precision for the most intricate ideas. We believe that an idea should not be hindered by software limitations or difficulties. If you enjoy pushing the boundaries of design tools and forms, this position is for you!
Interaction: The team member will be in contact with Studio leadership and work as part of project teams, collaborating with others.
Production: Develops modeling using the necessary software and integrates and exports to platforms according to the project phase.
REQUIREMENTS: Rhino, Grasshopper, Autocad, Basic knowledge of Revit, Fluent in English, proficiency in working with multiple software tools.
‍ADDITIONAL: Introduction to programming, Arduino, Python.

ARCHITECTURE | BACKGROUND: Architecture
RESPONSIBILITIES: Overseeing the entire project from conceptualization to executive design, ensuring the quality of the proposal throughout. Developing and analyzing the project's feasibility and details, considering all its complexities, including construction, regulatory, and budgetary aspects, as well as specifications, and maintaining contact with clients and suppliers.
PRODUCTION: Involves all project-related needs: reference research, diagnostics, 2D and 3D graphic development, schematics, diagrams, technical drawings, surveys, and potentially reaching the production level of executive drawings.
REQUIREMENTS: Adobe Suite, Autocad, Revit, Rhino.Fluent in English, basic Excel skills, proficiency in working with multiple software tools.

COORDINATOR | BACKGROUND: Architecture/Civil Engineering
RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees the various disciplines project teams. Responsible for ensuring the project coordenation and monitoring the work. This position will bridge Studio Production and the construction site. Understanding the designer and contractor jobs is essential.
PRODUCTION: Related to Design and construction. Coordination allows work flow between Studio team and contractor. Work will vary from specifications sheets to drawings, phone calls, emails...
REQUIREMENTS: Autocad, Revit, Excel

COMMERCIAL | BACKGROUND: Marketing/Business/Architecture
RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop planning, strategy and commercial actions, based on understanding the architecture market. Responsible for the relationship with customers and suppliers in addition to the alignment with the marketing and Public Relations area.
PRODUCTION: Plan commercial actions, indicators and performance, business proposal, market monitoring and prospecting.
REQUIREMENTS: Presentation of work platform
